Body in Newdale Fatal Fire Positively Identified

An autopsy has been done on human remains found after a fatal structure fire in Manitoba last week.
Yesterday’s (Tues) examination positively identified the individual as a 74-year-old man, who was the resident and lone occupant of the home. His name wasn’t released.
The cause of death does not appear to be suspicious and the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
Wasagaming RCMP responded to a structure fire at a residence in the community of Newdale Friday morning (Feb. 14) and found human remains after the fire was extinguished.
