Penitentiary Time For Cote First Nation Man Caught Shoplifting

A Cote First Nation man has been sentenced to prison time, for shoplifting to feed his drug habit.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Wed) morning, 38-year-old Wesley Whitehawk was given nearly 27 months behind bars.
Last May, he stole over 15-hundred dollars worth of meat from the Yorkton Walmart
Then in November, he swiped over 3-hundred dollars worth of meat from the Yorkton Co-op.
And in December, he stole a laptop from Shopper’s Drug Mart in Yorkton.
