Saskatchewan’s NDP leader met with Yorkton residents, listening to concerns on a wide range of issues prior to the spring sitting of the Legislature. Ryan Meili says poverty in the Yorkton area was one of those issues mentioned during his conversations. He met with with Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations members at an assembly in Yorkton, and heard their concerns, noting their frustration, and indicating he’s ready to actually partner with FSIN and work to make things better.
