Whitewood Man Charged in Connection to Report of Armed Male in a Vehicle Near Regina

White Butte RCMP have charged a Whitewood man with 11 offences in connection to a report of an armed male in a vehicle northeast of Regina.
Yesterday morning (Thurs), RCMP approached the driver and noticed he was in possession of a handgun, so they ordered him to drop it and exit the vehicle, however, the driver tried to get away but got stuck.
Reinforcements, including the RCMP Emergency Response Team, were brought in and the driver was eventually taken into custody.
A search of the man and the vehicle, which was determined to be stolen, turned up a total of 8 grams of what is believed to be crystal meth, over 6-hundred dollars in cash, a scale and a handgun with no magazine or ammunition.
26-year-old Cain Lindahl was due in Regina Provincial Court today (Fri).
