RCMP continue to investigate a fatal snowmobile crash 45 kilometres north of The Pas.
On Saturday at 11 p.m. (Feb. 22) Mounties received a report of a crash near Rocky Lake East Road, where initial investigation determined the snowmobile a male and female were on struck a tree.
A 26-year-old man from The Pas was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 22-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
