A Whitewood man facing 11 charges, in connection with a report of an armed man in a vehicle northeast of Regina last week, has made his first court appearance.
26-year-old Cain Lindahl was remanded in custody, to appear again in Regina Provincial Court on Wednesday (26th).
On Thursday (20th) morning, RCMP approached the driver of a vehicle, and noticed he was in possession of a handgun, so they ordered him to drop it and exit the vehicle, however the driver tried to get away, but got stuck.
After the suspect was taken into custody, a search of the man and the vehicle, which was found to be stolen, turned up eight grams of what is believed to be crystal meth, over six-hundred dollars in cash, a scale, and an unloaded handgun.
