Former Melville Mayor Passes Away

A former Mayor of Melville has died.
Peter Dielschneider (DELL-schneider) passed away last Friday (21st), in Saskatoon, at the age of 92.
Dielschneider, who moved to Melville in 1955 to practice law, served as the city’s Mayor from 1964, until 1973, when he was appointed to the District Court.
He was later appointed as a Court of Queen’s Bench judge in 1981, and served in that role until 2003.
A funeral will be held tomorrow (THURS) in Saskatoon.
