Prison Term for Gilbert Plains Man Who Admitted to his Role in Stabbing Incident

Sentencing has been handed down to a Gilbert Plains man, charged in connection with an Aggravated Assault in that town.
In Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Mon), 22-year-old Roger Keshane was given seven years in prison, but received credit for 560 days of time already served in custody.
His co-accused, a 17-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to his age, will be back in Dauphin for trial on April 20th.
In February of last year, Mounties were called to a home in Gilbert Plains, where a 36-year-old man had been stabbed, and a small amount of cannabis was stolen.
