More than 220-thousand dollars will be invested into the East Central Newcomer Welcome Centre in Yorkton by the provincial government.

The funding will give up to 300 clients access to orientation services, language assistance and other settlement services.

Regional Newcomer Gateways across the province will be receiving more than 2.5 million dollars in funding from the Saskatchewan Government in 2020, to support settlement services and improve new residents’ lives.
