The City of Melville is working to reassure residents that officials are well prepared as the virus is making its presence in the province. In a release on social media, the city says while prepared, they encourage people to take precautions directed by the provincial government, including self-isolation. They go on to say essential services like solid waste collection, policing fire, sewer and water services will not be affected.
