The number of positive and presumptive COVID-19 cases in Manitoba remains at 19.
In an update Sunday morning, Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin says the majority of cases in the province are travel related, including the most recent probable case, a Winnipeg woman in her 30’s, identified on Saturday.
Roussin reminds the public that now is the time to avoid non-essential travel, and ensure good hygiene practices and social distancing are being maintained.
Manitobans with concerns over potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus can call toll-free 1-888-315-9257, or visit www.manitoba.ca/covid19, for more information, and an online screening tool.
