International Olympic Committee imposes a four-week deadline to determine the fate of the 2020 Summer Games

The International Olympic Committee has reportedly imposed a mid-April deadline, to come to a decision regarding the possible postponement of the 2020 Summer Games, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Summer Olympics are scheduled to be held from July 24th to August 9th, in Tokyo, Japan.
The IOC had repeatedly said they would not be cancelling the Games, but with today’s development, they now have a four-week window, in which they will decide whether or not the Tokyo games will go ahead.
