Two correctional officers at the Saskatoon provincial jail have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Saskatchewan government confirmed this in a statement today, and instructed the employees to self-isolate.

The union representing the jail’s employees is arguing for more communication from the Public Health sector.

Currently Public Health officials and the corrections ministry is investigating to see who has had contact with the infected individuals.
