The City of Yorkton will see the completion of a road project. Mayor Bob Maloney states the Mayhew Avenue and Darlington Street Improvements will get wrapped up. The city awarded the project to Fedorowich Construction and will cost just over 2-million dollars. A vote to build a new City Operations Centre was defeated by council. The current City Operations building on York Road has several issues, including a human health risk assessment identifying the presence of hydrocarbon vapors exceeding allowable government regulated limits.
