Woman Arrested for Robbery in Wynyard is Released from Custody

Bail has been granted to a woman arrested in connection with a robbery in Wynyard.
On November 5th, RCMP were called to the Southshore Bar, and the investigation revealed that a woman tried to distract the employee, while a man tried to get into the cash registers.

The employee tried to stop the male suspect, but received minor injuries, before the thieves drove away.
Mounties found the suspect vehicle north of the Kawacatoose First Nation, and a search turned up alcohol, the stolen money, and other stolen property unrelated to the incident.
32-year-old Glenna Worm is scheduled to return to Wynyard Provincial Court on June 25th.
