*The U.S. topped 1,000 coronavirus deaths in a single day.

*Spain’s death toll from coronavirus surpassed the 10,000 threshold. Italy’s death toll has topped 13,000.

*Australia has started animal tests of 2 potential coronavirus vaccines.
