Patients, physicians and all Saskatchewan Health Authority staff won’t have to worry about parking fees.

The Health Authority is temporarily suspending all parking fees at all of its facilities, effective immediately, to allow staff to focus on providing services while easing the burden for patients.

This also applies to those who are visiting immediate family members for compassionate reasons.

On the SHA’s website, compassionate reasons mean “immediate family during end-of-life care, family of patients prior to a major surgery or visitors aiding in clinical care at the discretion of the patient’s care provider.”
