Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced 40 million dollars in financial aid to Women and Gender Equality Canada, including $30-million to domestic violence centres amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Ten million will go to Indigenous Services Canada’s 46 emergency shelters, and $157.5-million to address the needs of homeless Canadians.
The Prime Minister said he is confident a solution can be reached with U.S. President Donald Trump, after the White House ordered 3-M to cease exports of N-95 masks to Canada.
Trudeau again reminded Canadians to do their part in staying home and washing hands frequently.
