The number of COVID-19 cases in Canada continues to climb, as the total reached 14,426 and 2,832 people have recovered.

Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Theresa Tam says the death toll is at 258 and most are people in their 80s.

Dr. Tam added over 323 thousand tests have been completed with just over 4 per cent confirmed positive and over 95 per cent negative.
