Canada-US Border to Remain Closed Until Further Notice

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the border with the U.S. will remain closed for another 30 days to all but essential traffic.
At his COVID-19 update in the nation’s capital today (Fri), Trudeau says opening the border in the foreseeable future is not likely.
The decision was made after consultations with officials in the U.S., saying both countries are aligned on the matter.
He did announce $1.7 billion to clean up inactive or abandoned oil and gas wells in Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C.
