RCMP are investigating after a man with an ax smashed a glass case and took several bottles of liquor from the Canora Hotel off-sale Monday.

No cash was demanded, and none of the employees were hurt.

Mounties also say the man, in his mid 20’s or 30’s, entered the store half an hour before the theft.

The suspect was wearing a blue plaid jacket, grey hoodie, red scarf and pants with a stripe down the side.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
