*1 new case in Saskatchewan Monday, totaling 316. 74 cases are active, 238 resolved and the death toll remains at 4.
*1 new death in Manitoba Monday, totaling 6. 1 new case, totaling 254.
*Manitoba’s State of Emergency has been extended another 30 days.
*There are 36,823 total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Canada, with 1,778 deaths.
*360 of 2000 workers at a Cargill beef plant in High River, Alberta have tested positive, with 1 death. The plant has temporarily closed.
*Italy’s premier says the country can start re-opening May 4th, but says total loosening of restrictions won’t happen.
*A World Health Organization spokesman says  if a vaccine against the coronavirus were quickly developed, manufacturing and distributing it could prove difficult, and could be 18 months away.
