Melville City Council is extending the deadline of paying property taxes to September 30. At last night’s meeting, City Council approved an amendment to the property tax penalty bylaw to make the extension official. During the April 6th meeting, Council deferred charges to late payment and interest on all utility and accounts receivable accounts, and utility disconnections due to arrears to the same day.
