Yorkton-Area Man Receives Jail Time for Violent Home Invasion

A Yorkton-area man accused of taking the lead role in a violent home invasion in the city, has admitted his guilt.
35-year-old Louie Pelletier, also known as Louie Peepeetch, was in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Wed), where he plead guilty to break and enter, possession of a knife for a dangerous purpose, and wearing a disguise to commit an offence.
He was sentenced to 10 months in jail, after he was given credit for the time he’s already served in custody, as well as 6 months of probation.
Last February, Pelletier kicked in a door on Ashwood Place, and was brandishing a knife, where he stole jewelry and cash from a number of people inside.
