A 31-year-old man is in stable, but critical condition, after being ejected from the truck he was driving on Highway 10, east of Fort Qu’Appelle last night (Sun).
RCMP say the truck collided with the guard rail on a bridge and rolled, ejecting the driver and lone occupant, then a passing vehicle ran over the man, who was lying on the highway.
The 31-year-old was initially taken to hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle before being airlifted by STARS to a Regina hospital.
The passing motorist remained at the scene while RCMP investigated. The Highway was closed for several hours before re-opening.
