Prairie Co-op in Melville has announced they’re going ahead with the construction of a new Food Store and Home Centre, beginning next month.

The 17.5-million dollar project is expected to be completed some time next year.

The two new buildings will be erected on eight acres of land along Highway 10 in the hospitality corridor.

The Food Store will be 25-thousand square feet, while the Home Centre will come in at 20-thousand square feet.
