A Waywayseecappo First Nation man arrested in connection with a death on the reserve, has appeared in court again.

25-year-old Lawrence Shingoose was in Brandon yesterday (Mon) on numerous charges, including Manslaughter, where he was remanded in custody to May 7th.

On April 11th, First Nations police responded to a report of a shot fired inside a Waywayseecappo home.

They found a 15-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound, and she later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
