Canada’s COVID-19 Death Toll Approaches 3000

As of this (Wed) morning, there were 50,373 COVID-19 cases in Canada, and 2,904 deaths.
Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says given recent positive projections on flattening the curve, provinces are making plans to re-open, but cautions it won’t happen at the same time everywhere.
758 thousand people have now been tested for the virus, with 7% coming back positive.
