*12 new cases in Saskatchewan Sunday, totaling 433. 122 active cases, 305 recoveries, 6 deaths.
*1 new case in Manitoba yesterday , totaling 281. 38 active cases, 237 recoveries, 6 deaths.
*Saskatchewan and Manitoba start reopening, with some medical services resuming in both. Hair salons and retail outlets are also opening in Manitoba. Reopenings in Lloydminister and La Loche are not starting today.
*59,474 cases in Canada as of Sunday evening, with 3,682 deaths. 893,000 people have been tested, 6.5% positive.
*Italy, hard hit by the pandemic, starts to reopen today.
*Russia reports 10,000 new infections, and 1,280 deaths.
*Australia and New Zealand will discuss implementing a trans-Tasman “travel bubble” between the two countries.
*Globally the pandemic has seen nearly 3.5 million people infected and nearly 250,000 people have died.
