Balcarres Man Pleas Guilty To Driving While Prohibited

A guilty plea has been entered, in the case of a Balcarres man, charged in connection with the theft of a vehicle in Regina on August 16th.

Police kept a lookout for the vehicle, which was spotted in the Queen City on August 30th, and followed until it came to a stop, with a search of it turning up a stolen licence plate, and documents belonging to the victim of an August 11th robbery in Regina.
50-year-old Robert Racine, and 24-year-old Cree Strongarm, of Regina were arrested, and each charged with several offences.
A number of the charges against Racine had previously been stayed, but appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (TUES), where he admitted to one count of Driving While Prohibited, and he remains in custody, with sentencing set for next Tuesday (12th).
