Western Development Museum Cancels Threshermen’s Show, Other Events for This Year Due to Coronavirus

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of many events over the next few months, and the Western Development Museum has added its summer programs to that list.
The WDM has announced that its major summer events, including the 65th annual Threshermen’s Show and Seniors Festival, that had been set for August 1st and 2nd in Yorkton, have been cancelled.
All in-museum summer camps have been cancelled as well, but the WDM hopes to release details soon, regarding a virtual summer camp program.
At this point, there is no set date for Phase Four of the “Re-Open Saskatchewan” plan to take effect, and the province’s museums are included in that phase.
