Sentencing has been handed down to one of two Ontario residents, arrested for her involvement in a cyber-attack on a Moosomin business.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this morning, 24-year-old Shayden McMinn admitted to two counts of Laundering the Proceeds of Crime.
She received a 6-month conditional sentence, and must pay back about 25-thousand dollars.
The Pipestone Kin-Ability Centre is working closely with the RCMP to recover stolen funds, following a breach of their payroll system, that was discovered on October 1st.
The attackers allegedly stole over 600-thousand dollars, and to date, less than half has been recovered.
