The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the cancellation of another local event.

The Yorkton branch of the Western Development Museum was planning to hold their annual “Good Old-Fashioned Canada Day Picnic” on July 1st on the museum grounds, but the current situation has resulted in the cancellation.

However, the WDM says they are working to come up with a way to mark Canada’s 153rd birthday in a different way, that complies with government recommendations and public health orders.
