In Manitoba, burning restrictions are in place for:
–Municipality of Swan Valley West (ban on all burning)
–Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman (restricts burning to only essential crop residue burning and other required agricultural, municipal or industrial operations)
–R.M. of Mountain (all burning is prohibited)
–Municipality of Ethelbert (complete fire ban)
The fire ban has been lifted for:
–City of Yorkton (Fire pits are allowed within City limits from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. but a fire pit permit is required – which can be purchased at City Hall or online on the City’s website for 20 dollars)
