Last night’s fire at a vacant home on Gladstone Avenue North across from Yorkton Regional High School is being investigated as suspicious. Fire chief Trevor Morrissey says the main floor, basement and part of the roof were burned, and the blaze was deliberately set, most likely on the main floor. Damage is estimated at $150 thousand.
