New Court Date Set For Piapot First Nation Woman

A new court date has been set for a Piapot First Nation woman, charged following a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision last summer.
43-year-old Leah Pratt, who is charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death, will be back in Regina Provincial Court on November 2nd.
Southey RCMP were called to the scene of the incident on August 24th, where a woman present confirmed she had struck the victim with her vehicle, on a driveway at a home on the reserve.
33-year-old Nolan Sugar was pronounced dead at a Regina hospital.
