The Saskatchewan Realtors Association is predicting that Saskatchewan real estate markets will get better as the province re-opens from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite provincials sales being down nearly 14% from last May, and new listings dropping almost 20%, the SRA expects the market to have a strong recovery.
In Yorkton, real estate sales have increased 60% from May 2019, with 24 homes sold this May, compared to 15 in May of 2019.
The average home price has also dropped 8.2% in Yorkton, going from 240-thousand dollarsย in 2019, to 220-thousand 350 dollars in 2020.
