Prison Time for Man who Admitted Involvement in Fatal Single Vehicle Crash Near Punnichy

Sentencing has been handed down to a 21-year-old man, who admitted to his role in a fatal single vehicle crash near Punnichy.
Creedance Cyr pled guilty to Driving While Over .08 Causing Death, and Driving While Over .08 Causing Bodily Harm, in Punnichy Provincial Court back in November.
Yesterday (Tue), he was sentenced to 2 and-a-half years in prison, and received a 5-year driving ban and a 10-year firearm prohibition.
RCMP were called to a report of a vehicle in a slough east of the town along Highway 15, in September of 2017.
An 18-year-old man was killed, while a 15-year-old boy was injured.
