A COVID-19 Outbreak In Southwest Sask.

The Saskatchewan  Health Authority has declared a COVID-19 outbreak on two Hutterite communities in the Rural Municipality of Maple Creek in the province’s southwest. Two members of a rural household in the area initially tested positive for the virus last week with 14 more positive cases being confirmed yesterday. That brings the total number of cases in Saskatchewan to 707. Contact tracing and active case finding has started with cases being investigated for connection to interprovincial travel to Alberta, as well as travel in the area.
