Spring seeding in southwestern Manitoba made a lot of progress in the past week. Manitoba Agriculture Crop Specialist Dane Froese says it’s now 85 to 90 percent complete. Province-wide, spring seeding in Manitoba is 97 percent complete, slightly behind last year’s pace of 99 percent, with only a few fields in the area of The Pas remaining.
