A Grande Prairie, Alberta man remains in custody, after making his first appearance in Yorkton Court yesterday (THURS), on a number of drug and weapon charges.
On Tuesday (16th), Yorkton RCMP were notified by their counterparts in Foam Lake, to be on the lookout for an erratic driver.
The suspect vehicle, which turned out to be stolen, was found in Yorkton, and a subsequent search resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, psylocybin, hydromorphone, naloxine, needles and drug paraphernalia, along with several knives, a loaded firearm, and about 250 rounds of ammunition.
29-year-old Simon De Lima will be back in court next Thursday (25th), on a total of 11 charges, including one count each, of Flight From a Peace Officer and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
