Two Fort Qu’Appelle Residents No-Show Scheduled Court Appearance

Bench warrants have been issued for two Fort Qu’Appelle residents charged in February, following a month-long investigation into the alleged trafficking of prescription drugs.
67-year-old Chester Arnold and 56-year-old Vera Ryder, are each charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and failed to show up for their court dates in Fort Qu’Appelle on Monday (June 29th).
Arnold and Ryder were two of five people arrested on February 20th, in connection with an investigation that led to the seizure of opioids, cash, and cell phones.
Three of the adults were later released without charges.
