Dauphin Woman Charged Following Report of Robbery at Gilbert Plains Hotel

A Dauphin woman is facing charges in connection with a robbery at the Gilbert Plains Hotel.
41-year-old Jeananne Jubenville is charged with Robbery, Disguised with Intent and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and was released on conditions to attend Dauphin Provincial Court on September 8th.
Dauphin RCMP say on Saturday night (July 4) a female suspect, armed with a knife, entered the bar and demanded cash, but the employee refused and went out to request help.
When the bystanders entered, they saw the suspect leave through the back door.
The suspect was located and eventually taken into custody, after Mounties used a taser following repeated requests to drop the knife.
