Man Charged with Second Degree Murder in Connection to January Incident Makes Court Appearance

An 18-year-old Star Blanket First Nation man, charged with Second Degree Murder, was back in court yesterday (MON).
Shauntay Keewatin remains in custody, and will be back in Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court next Monday (20th), for a bail hearing.
Officers from the RCMP and File Hills Police Service responded to reports of an altercation at a home on the reserve, on the evening of January 31st, and found the victim inside.
The name of the victim, a 17-year-old boy who lived in the home, is not being released.
