Two of three people arrested following a violent home invasion in Russell, have appeared in court again.

32-year-old Christopher Benn appeared in Rossburn on Wednesday (22nd), and was remanded in custody to appear again next Thursday (30th), in Brandon.

40-year-old Elroy Benn was in Brandon yesterday (THURS), where he was remanded in custody, to appear there again on August 6th.

Their co-accused, 30-year-old Harley Mecas, is also in custody, and returns to Russell Court on August 26th.

In the early morning hours of December 22nd, Russell RCMP were called to a report of a home invasion at an apartment complex in Russell, where a 32-year-old woman was assaulted while she slept.
