A Waywayseecappo First Nation man arrested in connection with a death on the reserve, has appeared in court again.

25-year-old Lawrence Shingoose was in Brandon yesterday (THURS) on numerous charges, including Manslaughter, where he was remanded in custody for next Thursday (30th).

On April 11th, First Nations Police responded to a report of a shot fired inside a Waywaywseecappo home.

They found a 15-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound, and she later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
