One of three people arrested following a violent home invasion in Russell, has admitted his guilt.

32-year-old Christopher Benn was in Brandon yesterday, where he was remanded in custody for sentencing on September 10th.

His co-accused, 40-year-old Elroy Benn and 30-year-old Harley Mecas, are also in custody, and return to court in August.

In the early morning hours of December 22nd, Russell RCMP were called to a report of a home invasion at an apartment complex in Russell, where a 32-year-old woman was assaulted while she slept.
