A trough of low pressure is responsible for the line of storms that rolled through the Yorkton area last night. The storms formed in the Hudson Bay area, then rolled southeast, bringing up to 15 mm of rain and wind gusts of 80 km/h near Birtle, Manitoba. Golf baall size hail was also reported in some areas.
