A Waywayseecappo First Nation man arrested in connection with a death on the reserve, has appeared in court again.

25-year-old Lawrence Shingoose was in Brandon yesterday (THURS) on numerous charges, including Manslaughter, and he was remanded in custody to appear on September 2nd, in Waywayseecappo.

On April 11th, First Nations Police responded to a report of a shot fired inside a Wayway residence.

They found a 15-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound, and she succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
