Bail Denied For A Man Accused of Firing Shot at a Fishing Lake First Nation Home

A man accused of firing a shot at a house on the Fishing Lake First Nation, was back in court yesterday (FRI), for a bail hearing.

22-year-old Lane Nataucappo was denied bail, and his next court appearance was set for August 20th, in Wynyard.

On March 21st, Mounties were called to a home on the reserve, on a report of a shot fired.

Nataucappo was arrested nearby, and a search of a vehicle turned up a firearm, ammunition, and a small amount of illegal opioids.
